In-home skilled occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services focused on functional feeding and swallowing skills. This includes oral sensory-motor skills; mobility, strength and coordination of oral structures; neurodevelopmental / motor skills; oral primitive and postural reflexes; sensory regulation; self-feeding; mealtime structure; and parent : child interaction. 

Treatment is provided in a holistic manner, working together to assist baby  / child and family to progress developmental feeding skills,  and assist in integration of adaptive strategies and therapeutic techniques into daily routine.

The TummyTime!TM Method is an evidenced informed therapeutic program designed to support health, posture, movement, and connection for all babies. It can also be incorporated to treat oral motor dysfunction, postural asymmetries, digestive difficulties, and autonomic dysregulation.

Individual in-home  sessions can be scheduled to specifically work on improving your baby’s tummy time experience, while promoting optimal motor development and social / emotional baby to parent interaction unique to their needs.

Following an in-home evaluation, we provide Occupational Therapy / Feeding Therapy and TummyTime! Method services online. Telehealth allows you to receive services via live videoconferencing on the Healthie platform.

It includes 1:1 interaction with parent assisting child to participate in activities demonstrated and instructed by therapist. Communication for planning and follow-up has been very helpful in optimizing benefits of this treatment method.
